The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it is actually alarmed concerning the substantial variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office devoted to service the area daily. The support point produced for intervention activities a higher influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to help the servicing of all clients and maximize access sassa status to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
