The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] SRD is to reach-out into a large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the website area on a regular basis. The provider level produced for intervention experiences a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to enable the servicing of all clients and increase access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
